Job Summary
Lead sales and marketing efforts to drive market leadership and profitability in the healthcare industry. Manage and develop sales teams, execute strategies, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate clear business plans and goals to achieve market leadership, ensure compliance, and enhance customer loyalty and profitability
- Manage recruitment, coaching, performance evaluation, and capability building of the sales team to maintain high customer satisfaction and resolve issues effectively
- Design and implement sales strategies, including setting sales targets, managing CRM tools, optimizing budgets, and achieving revenue and growth objectives
- Oversee marketing strategies and portfolio management by creating marketing plans, deploying promotional tools, analyzing field insights, and monitoring competitive activity to support market share and product success
- Forecast demand accurately and collaborate with supply chain teams to manage inventory, ensuring timely communication with customers during stock fluctuations
- Establish and maintain strong business and stakeholder relationships, monitor competitor activities, manage expenses and budgets, support tender submissions and regulatory compliance, and enforce company policies and industry standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably Marketing, Sales, Business, or Science
- Minimum 6 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in medical devices or pharmaceuticals with hospital channel exposure
- Approximately 2 years of experience leading a high-performing team
- Pharmacy or pharmacist background, or prior engagement with anaesthesiologists, is advantageous
