Job Description

Position SummaryThe incumbent is responsible for driving sales of guestrooms, meeting spaces, and additional hotel services to corporate clients, travel agents, and group accounts. This role plays a key part in securing new business, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring smooth collaboration with operations teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively develop new corporate accounts and business opportunities across various industries.
  • Actively convert inquiries into confirmed sales to drive repeat and future business.
  • Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Attend credit meetings, participate in trade shows, and engage in business travel to build pipeline and partnerships.
  • Manage both inbound and outbound travel agent relationships.

Client Engagement & Revenue Generation

  • Handle all sales-related inquiries
  • Conduct site inspections and property tours with potential clients.
  • Prepare proposals and contracts tailored to client needs.
  • Support achievement of revenue targets including room sales, ADR, and room nights.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with hotel goals.
  • Leverage internal resources and cross-functional support teams to meet sales objectives.
  • Create and maintain a targeted prospect list based on industry trends and competitor activity.

Team Support & Mentorship

  • Provide mentorship and on-the-job training for junior sales staff.
  • Oversee daily sales workflows including proposal writing, contract management, and reporting.

Operational Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and seamless execution of group events and stays.
  • Support achievement of departmental KPIs including profitability and labor cost efficiency.
