Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within non-Japanese corporate accounts.

  • Analyse and define priority target markets by assessing industry trends, growth areas, and competitive landscape.

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer requirements, key business drivers, potential barriers, and competitive positioning.

  • Formulate market penetration strategies supported by short-, mid-, and long-term execution plans.

  • Build a pipeline of prospective clients within identified segments, leveraging the organisation's core value propositions.

  • Gain a clear understanding of clients business drivers, strategic objectives, investment priorities, and stakeholder landscape to shape effective account strategies.

  • Contribute and adapt best-practice business models tailored to different market segments.

  • Translate market positioning into actionable sales strategies, define target customer profiles, and establish clear action plans to achieve individual and organisational goals.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in entering new markets, generating qualified leads, and driving opportunities through to successful closure is essential.

  • Background in Network, Infrastructure, Security, or related solution sales relevant certifications and technical knowledge will be advantageous.

  • Proven experience in client engagement and consultative selling, with a strong ability to influence decision-makers.

  • Experience in IT strategy development, with involvement in at least one transformational engagement within the IT industry.

  • Solid understanding of market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies.

  • Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within a System Integrator (SI) environment or similar industry.

  • Knowledge of solution-selling methodologies and a track record of generating new business from both new and existing accounts.

  • Good working knowledge of relevant technologies and enterprise applications.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
