About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to grow our FMCG Wholesale business.
This role is suitable for a strong sales manager who can manage existing accounts while actively developing new business opportunities across industries such as F&B, offices, hotels and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets
Develop and manage a structured sales pipeline across new and existing customers
Attend to new sales enquiries, prepare quotations, and drive development of new products and markets
Actively identify and acquire new B2B clients, reactivate dormant or inactive accounts and grow customer portfolio
Manage key suppliers, including product sourcing, pricing, and technical support coordination
Conduct client meetings and site visits where required
Attend and represent the company at business networking events, seminars, and exhibitions
Manage daily sales outreach via calls, messaging platforms and email
Negotiate pricing and close deals independently
Monitor sales performance, pipeline progress and conversion metrics
Work closely with operations team to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in wholesale, FMCG, or related industries
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to guide, motivate and develop sales teams
Excellent negotiation skills and customer relationship management abilities
Comfortable working with sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive business growth
Good understanding of retail and consumer product market trends and competitive landscape
Comfortable with both field sales and desk-based selling
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales Management or a related discipline preferred
