Business Development Identify, approach, and secure new clients within the marine, offshore, and logistics sectors. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to local and overseas customers.
Customer Relationship Management Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with corporate customers, shipping lines, and overseas agents. Develop account plans to maximize revenue and ensure repeat business.
Operational Coordination Work closely with operations, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders, including handling dangerous goods storage and time-sensitive deliveries. Liaise with finance and procurement teams to align pricing and service terms.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reports on activities, forecasts, and market trends. Monitor competitor activity and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
Proven sales experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or marine logistics.
Strong customer-facing, negotiation, and communication skills.
Familiarity with logistics operations and supply chain processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office prior experience with sales forecasting preferred.
