Job Summary

The Junior Sales Executive supports the sales team in growing GentleFoods client base across healthcare and community care sectors. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, enjoy building relationships, and want to develop a career in B2B healthcare or food service sales.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior sales team members to identify and pursue sales leads, contributing to client base expansion in healthcare and community care sectors
  • Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and basic presentations to support sales initiatives and client engagement
  • Participate actively in sales meetings, client visits, and product tastings to build product knowledge and client relationships
  • Develop confident presentation skills to effectively communicate GentleFoods products and services to prospective clients
  • Maintain consistent communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
  • Coordinate order processing and respond promptly to basic customer enquiries to facilitate smooth sales operations
  • Accurately document client interactions and follow up on requests to support customer service excellence
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of GentleFoods therapeutic meals and services to provide informed support to clients and the sales team
  • Understand healthcare, senior care, and community food service operations to align sales strategies with client needs
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to the sales team to inform product and service improvements
  • Update sales records and CRM systems to maintain accurate and current client data
  • Prepare simple sales reports and track follow-ups to support sales performance monitoring
  • Assist with ad-hoc sales and marketing activities to contribute to overall business growth

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Hospitality, Nutrition, Healthcare, or related field
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to prepare sales documents and reports
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated through effective client interactions and teamwork
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take guidance to develop sales capabilities
  • Empathy and alignment with GentleFoods mission of care to engage meaningfully with clients and stakeholders
