Job Description

Job Scope & Responsibilities

  • Generate sales revenue for equipment to the Maritime industry
  • Prepare and issue sales quotations and process customer sales orders, including delivery scheduling and coordination.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and principals for purchase order processing, delivery scheduling, and order fulfillment.
  • Follow up on quotations, enquiries, and orders with customers, suppliers, and principals to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Handle urgent enquiries and quotations as required, including working beyond normal office hours where necessary, managing the full operational cycle from enquiry to delivery completion.
  • Place customer orders accurately with the appropriate supplier or principal.
  • Act as the key coordinator among Principals, Suppliers, Customers, and Agents throughout the entire sales process, including enquiry, quotation, order receipt, acknowledgement, and fulfillment.
  • Request and manage operational updates such as readiness status, dispatch details, freight tracking, shipping documentation, legalization, invoicing, and related documentation where applicable.
  • Create, maintain, and control all manual and electronic filing systems for customer sales cases and relevant operational documents.
  • Conduct market analysis on existing and potential regions where the company is active or intends to expand, identifying business opportunities, growth potential, and market prospects.
