Dezign Format is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Executive to support business growth, secure key accounts, and expand the company's portfolio across exhibitions, events, retail fit-outs, and brand activations, etc.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and managing the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach to proposal development and contract signing. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to translate client requirements into compelling, tailored solutions that align with both creative vision and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and pursue new business accounts across key sectors (e.g., events, exhibitions, retail fit-outs, brand activations, etc.)
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to proposal development, negotiation, and closing
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, pitches, and proposals in collaboration with design and project teams
Translate client briefs into clear requirements for internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are aligned with expectations, budget, and project feasibility
Respond to client briefs, RFQs, and tenders in a timely and strategic manner
Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities
Support the team in networking events, industry exhibitions, and client engagements
Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the project management team for execution
Support cross-functional initiatives as required
Requirements
Core Competencies
Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of sales or business development experience
Prior experience in the design, construction, events and exhibitions industry is a plus
Proven sales closing track records
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and manage clients effectively
Target-oriented and self-motivated individual
Adaptable, resilient, and responsible, with a positive and professional attitude
Confident in presenting ideas and proposals to clients and stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-ups
A confident and independent team player with the ability to collaborate across departments
Understanding of budgeting, materials, and fabrication processes to ensure cost-effective project delivery
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for proposal preparation and presentations
Familiarity with CRM systems or sales tracking tools is an advantage
Experience with monday.com and Navision is a plus
Basic understanding of design processes, materials, and production workflows
Strong business acumen, including costing, budgeting, and margin management
