About the Role

We are recruiting a Sales Engineer on behalf of our client, a pump supplier in Singapore. The successful candidate will develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and recommend suitable vacuum pump solutions to meet customers requirements.

Job Details

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Joo Koon, Singapore
Working Hours: 9:00 am-6:00 pm, 5 days per week
Basic Salary: S$3,000-S$5,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience
Car Allowance: S$1,200 per month
Annual Leave: 14 days
Probation Period: 3-6 months
AWS / Variable Bonus: Not provided

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Understand customers technical and application requirements and recommend suitable vacuum pump solutions.
Prepare quotations, sales proposals and sales reports.
Follow up on customer enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities.
Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
Coordinate and support after-sales service activities, including following up on customer feedback and service requirements.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
1-2 years of relevant experience in the engineering field.
Experience in after-sales service would be an advantage.
Good communication, interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
Open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
