We are looking for a Sales Engineer who is driven, disciplined, and confident in developing new business from the ground up. This role is not account management; it's a hunting role that requires persistence, technical understanding, and strong communication skills. Cold calling, client visits, and follow-ups are core parts of this job. You'll be responsible for identifying prospects, building relationships, and closing deals in industrial automation.
Responsibilities
- Actively generate new leads through cold calls, emails, site visits, and networking.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities across manufacturing and industrial sectors.
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable PLC, HMI, drive, and control solutions.
- Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and follow through to deal closure.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronics / Engineering / Business Admin (or similar).
- Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience in industrial automation or technical B2B products.
- Proven ability in cold calling and new business development (not account farming).
- Good understanding of PLCs, drives, SCADA, sensors, and industrial systems.
- Confident communicator, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
