Sales Engineer (Interior Products)

Key Responsibilities:

(1) Sales Development

· Develop and maintain relationship with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.

· Identify new business opportunities by cultivating potential prospects and understanding market demands

· Promote and sell Luxx Newhouse's products by contacting prospects, presenting solutions, and closing deals.

· Provide clients with information, support, and guidance while offering innovative suggestions to enhance service and profitability.

· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to recommend product or service enhancements.

· Ensure consistent quality service by upholding company standards in all interactions.

· Continuously enhance professional knowledge through workshops, industry publications, and networking.

(2) Technical & Design Understanding

· Read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.

· Translate design requirements into practical solutions and proposals.

· Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure feasibility of proposed solutions.

· Provide technical input during client discussions and presentations.

(3) Project Coordination

· Liaise between clients, design teams, and operations to ensure alignment on project scope.

· Support project execution by clarifying design intent and technical requirements.

· Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients.

(4) Market & Product Knowledge

· Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations

· Advise clients on product suitability, design options, and technical specifications

· Provide feedback to management on market demands and client preferences.

Requirements:

· minimum of 2 – 3 years of sales experience, ideally in Retail/General, Design, Renovation, Furniture, or Architectural products

· Proven track record in selling furniture or architectural products is a strong advantage.

· Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.

· Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings

· Self-driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Abilityto work independently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team

· Own transport is preferred.

· Availability to start immediately or within a short notice period.
