Sales Engineer (Interior Products)

Key Responsibilities:

(1) Sales Development

. Develop and maintain relationship with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.

. Identify new business opportunities by cultivating potential prospects and understanding market demands

. Promote and sell Luxx Newhouse's products by contacting prospects, presenting solutions, and closing deals.

. Provide clients with information, support, and guidance while offering innovative suggestions to enhance service and profitability.

. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to recommend product or service enhancements.

. Ensure consistent quality service by upholding company standards in all interactions.

. Continuously enhance professional knowledge through workshops, industry publications, and networking.

(2) Technical & Design Understanding

. Read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.

. Translate design requirements into practical solutions and proposals.

. Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure feasibility of proposed solutions.

. Provide technical input during client discussions and presentations.

(3) Project Coordination

. Liaise between clients, design teams, and operations to ensure alignment on project scope.

. Support project execution by clarifying design intent and technical requirements.

. Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients.

(4) Market & Product Knowledge

. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations

. Advise clients on product suitability, design options, and technical specifications

. Provide feedback to management on market demands and client preferences.

Requirements:

. minimum of 2 - 3 years of sales experience, ideally in Retail/General, Design, Renovation, Furniture, or Architectural products

. Proven track record in selling furniture or architectural products is a strong advantage.

. Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.

. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings

. Self-driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

. Abilityto work independently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team

. Own transport is preferred.

. Availability to start immediately or within a short notice period.
