Sales Engineer (Electrical installation products)

Location: Serangoon Road

Working hours: 9am - 6pm (Mon - Fri)

Salary Range: $4000 to $5000 (commensurate with experience)

AWS + incentive of up to 2 months, based on performance

Mileage claim for those with own car & transport claim for those without own car

Our Established MNC client is seeking a qualified Sales Engineer to join them for their Singapore sales office and support their business growth through technical expertise, customer engagement, and effective sales execution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electrical industry, experience in sales, and the ability to connect technical product knowledge with customer needs. You will work closely with project stakeholders, distributors, and consultants to promote our solutions, generate leads, and close deals.

This role is ideal for a self-driven, technically competent sales professional who is eager to grow and develop in a fast-paced environment.

Key Objectives:

• Represent the company with a thorough understanding of our products and solutions
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Support distributors and local partners in achieving sales goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and project owners
• Conduct product presentations, technical trainings, and site visits as needed
• Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall company growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute sales plans to grow the customer and distributor base in the assigned region
• Visit consultants, contractors, and project sites to promote products and generate leads
• Conduct regular product trainings and technical seminars
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to clients and partners
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities
• Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates as required

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in electrical installation products
• Familiarity with product specification work and dealing with consultants
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex concepts simply
• Well-organized and self-motivated with good time management
