Job Description

Role Summary:

The Sales Engineer supports pre-sales, tendering, and order management activities across the Asia region. Based in Singapore, the role works closely with the Head of Asia and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate sales quotations, manage sales orders and variations in SAP, and provide technical and commercial support to customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support all pre-sales and tender activities, ensuring accurate and compliant sales quotations aligned with customer and business requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate creation of Sales Quotations (SQs) and Sales Orders (SOs) in SAP throughout the sales and project delivery lifecycle
  • Act as a trusted technical and commercial partner to customers by providing pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers to support repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders by initiating project Kick-Off Calls to align budget, scope, timelines, and delivery expectations
  • Effectively manage Variation Orders (VOs), ensuring all changes are formally quoted, approved, and documented in SAP
  • Ensure all incoming RFQs are reviewed, processed, and submitted in a timely and professional manner
  • Support operational excellence by maintaining clear communication and collaboration with Project Managers, Finance, Materials, and Leadership teams across Singapore and Australia

Roles Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in construction (datacentre experience highly regarded)
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related Engineering discipline
  • Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with SAP
  • Willingness to travel as required by operational needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and receptive to direction
  • Ability to work independently while remaining goal-oriented
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across functions
