Job Description

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities, through cold-calling, networking with consultants, developers, contractors, and partners.
  • Carry out assessment in customer's facilities, walkthrough audit, measurement, analysis, and study to evaluate their energy needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling value-based sales presentations and proposals.
  • Effectively address customer objections, negotiate terms, and close new business deals.
  • Prepare official documents such as contract and discuss contract amendments with lawyers.
  • Coordinate installation projects, liaise with all stakeholders on project job scope, and ensure smooth project execution within timeline and budget.
  • Serve as main point of contact for customers and build strong long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their current and future energy needs, challenges, and business objectives across our service portfolio.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell and upsell relevant services and products to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information in relevant systems (Salesforce, Sharepoint, SAP, etc).
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth through service expansion, new projects, and deeper engagement.
  • Communicate with other sales team members as well as City Energy and Osaka Gas staff.
  • Meter-reading and billing works on the first business day of the month.
  • Drive island-wide safely to visit customers, work-related companies and authorities.
  • Any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Pre-requisites:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business or related technical disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience in related industry (energy, manufacturing or related industrial sectors preferred)
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Self-driven, able to work independently, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Possess class 3 driving license or preferably own a car.

The successful candidate will be based at 26 Senoko Avenue. Company shuttle bus pickup/dropoff point at Sembawang MRT station.
