We are hiring a Business Development & Commercial Manager for a leading marine robotics company operating across defence, offshore, and subsea technology sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced sales professionals with a strong client-hunting mindset and international exposure to drive commercial growth across Singapore, South Asia, and Northern Europe. The role involves managing complex B2B sales cycles, building strategic client relationships, and contributing to the expansion of autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) and marine robotics solutions globally.
*Key Responsibilities*
Identify, prospect, and qualify new clients across defence agencies, offshore operators, oil & gas majors, EPC contractors, and survey companies in target geographies.
Generate inbound and outbound business opportunities through targeted outreach, industry events, partner networks, and direct customer engagement.
Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings across Singapore, South Asia, and Northern Europe.
Manage end-to-end international sales cycles across multiple geographies, procurement frameworks, and time zones.
Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and commercial negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers across procurement, technical, and leadership teams within client organizations.
Track market trends, competitor activity, and procurement developments within the marine robotics, defence, and offshore sectors.
*Looking For*
8–10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or commercial roles with a strong track record in client acquisition across multiple geographies.
Proven experience in closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with corporate, government, or defence customers.
Exposure to offshore energy, defence, marine technology, subsea services, hydrography, oil & gas, or related maritime industries.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is mandatory. MBA or postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
