Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and drive sales strategies, Win Plans, and Sales Execution Plans to achieve targets.
- Contribute to setting sales targets across the organization and ensure alignment.
- Lead and motivate teams to execute the sales strategy and achieve or exceed targets.
- Monitor market trends and sector landscapes to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with Marketing and internal teams to identify opportunities and develop sector or vertical strategies.
- Organize local sales events and contribute to sales communications and content.
- Translate strategy into clear operational objectives, KPIs, and initiatives, and track progress.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional leaders to enhance collaboration.
People & Team Development
- Build and structure the sales organization to support customer engagement and productivity.
- Coach and develop sales managers through regular 1:1 sessions and performance reviews.
- Drive competency assessments, development plans, and training programs for the sales team.
- Ensure effective onboarding and coaching capability for sales managers.
- Define incentive frameworks aligned with group policies.
- Cascade targets and KPIs across the sales team and monitor performance.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture aligned with company values.
Business Growth & Performance
- Use market insights to identify growth opportunities and target key customer segments.
- Support revenue planning and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Ensure focus on high-potential customers aligned with strategic priorities.
- Participate in major commercial negotiations and strengthen key account relationships.
- Ensure proposals clearly communicate the company's value and differentiation.
- Maintain high levels of customer and employee satisfaction.
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to revenue realization.
Reporting & Governance
- Align with leadership priorities and support organizational initiatives.
- Drive leadership standards, reporting cadence, and performance dashboards across the sales organization.
- Identify gaps and implement actions to strengthen business performance.
Ethics, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics and all company policies.
- Adhere to quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field MBA is an advantage.
- 8-10 years of senior sales leadership experience, preferably in multinational or matrix organizations.
- Proven success in leading high-performing sales teams and delivering strong business results.
- Strong experience across Asian markets, with solid understanding of regional customers, business environments, and competition.
- Well-established network of customers and suppliers in key Asian markets, with the ability to build strategic partnerships.
