Job Description

Purpose of the role:

The Sales Director, APAC, is a critical senior leadership role responsible for leading and growing Keyloops footprint across Asia. This person will be the senior figurehead for APAC, responsible for structuring and scaling the sales organisation and driving new business across the region, striking a balance between bringing structure, consistent growth, and strong leadership to the sales organisation, while also possessing deep experience within the automotive and motor vehicle manufacturing sectors in Asia.

This individual would also have a strong understanding of the potential opportunities within the various geographical regions, so they can build and implement multiple strategies across Keyloops target segments.

The role will be responsible for an established sales team in APAC, consisting of 5 employees across sales and with a virtual pre-sales team to support client engagement, located across multiple countries, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea.

Specific Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  1. Define and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy for the APAC region.
  2. Own and exceed regional revenue and growth targets.
  3. Analyze market trends and adjust plans to maximize opportunities.

Team Leadership:

  1. Recruit, lead, and coach a high-performing team of Sales Account Managers.
  2. Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and collaboration.
  3. Provide regular training, mentorship, and performance reviews.

Customer & Partner Engagement:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers/clients.
  2. Drive customer satisfaction and retention through consultative selling.

Forecasting & Reporting:

  1. Deliver accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  2. Provide regular performance updates to executive leadership.
  3. Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track performance and insights.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Finance to support regional initiatives.
  2. Act as the voice of the APAC customer internally.

Required Experience:

  1. 5-8+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in SaaS, Technology, or Automotive Software.
  2. Proven success driving revenue growth across diverse APAC markets.
  3. Strong understanding of regional business culture, compliance, and market dynamics.
  4. Experience managing distributed teams and scaling regional operations.
  5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  6. Fluent in English additional Asian languages are a strong plus.
