Job Description & Requirements
- To develop & implement Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policy, programs &
procedures
- To ensure all safety matters are in compliance with statutory, contractual &
management system requirements
- To oversee and lead the Safety team in the implementation of company's safety
system at project sites
- To conduct toolbox meetings
- Perform construction site safety inspections & attend site walks with client &
subcons
- Identify unsafe work practice and work condition & recommend control measures
to project team
- Prepare/Review Risk Assessment/SWP/Method Statement/Permit-to-Work for all
project works. Manage and maintain/update these safety records & checklists
- Inventory management for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Support haze and pandemic activities
- Respond promptly to incidents & accidents
Requirements
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH or its equivalent
- Registered WSHC/WSHO with MOM, ECO with NEA
- Have a good knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety Management System
- Have excellent people management & interpersonal skills
