SAFETY COORDINATOR

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and procedures.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with MOM, WSH, and company safety requirements.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and site inductions.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities on safety matters.
• Ensure all workers use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate safety training and maintain training records.
• Support the project team in achieving a safe and accident-free work environment.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction or ACMV industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and MOM requirements.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess a Class 3 driving license (preferred).
