JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
- Assist site management on safety and health related matters
- Follow up with the committee site walk inspection findings for WSH Officer to close up the report
- Assist in incident / workplace investigations and corrective action recommendations
- Responsible for daily checklists are properly documented
- Carry out daily toolbox meeting.
- Coordination with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
- Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
- Conduct site safety inspection to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and health Act and regulations
- Assist to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues
- Ensure that all safety and health documentations are maintained and readily available upon request
- Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations
- Prepare, review and revise of method statement and risk assessment as and when required
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time
- Preferably with Semicon experience
Requirements
. WSQ: Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent as required under
WSH regulations
. Managing Work-At-Height Course or equivalent (Work at Height for Assessor)
. Occupational First Aid
. BizSAFE Level 2: Risk Management
. Processes other safety certificates is an additional advantage
