Job Summary
Support ROV operations for underwater hull cleaning by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting ROV systems safely and efficiently while collaborating with teams and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate ROV systems efficiently and safely during underwater hull cleaning missions
- Conduct pre- and post-dive checks to verify ROV equipment and system functionality
- Perform maintenance and troubleshoot electronic, electrical, mechanical, and computing components of ROV systems
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with ROV equipment to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute ROV operations aligned with project requirements
- Monitor and analyze data collected by the ROV during missions to support operational decisions
- Accurately document ROV operations, maintenance activities, and data analysis results for record-keeping and review
- Assist in developing and testing new ROV technologies and systems to improve performance
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during operations
- Work effectively in a vessel and terminal environment, adapting to operational conditions
- Communicate clearly and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and embrace new challenges to support continuous improvement
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Competencies and qualifications
- Possess ROV pilot certificate
- Basic computer skills to support ROV data monitoring and system troubleshooting
- Possess electronic, electrical or mechanical qualification
