Job Description

Working Hours & Schedule

  • 6 days work per week
  • Standard shift: 8am - 5pm
  • Off day will fall on weekdays only (no regular weekend off)
  • May be required to work on weekends, Public Holidays, festive periods and peak seasons (e.g. year-end, major sales events)

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of a retail outlet, including opening and closing procedures
  • Stand on the shop floor for extended periods to supervise and participate in sales activities
  • Handle walk-in customers continuously throughout the day, including difficult or demanding customers
  • Achieve monthly individual and store sales targets explain shortfalls and variances to management
  • Perform cashiering duties, refunds, exchanges and handle discrepancies in cash/stock
  • Manage staff duty rosters to ensure full coverage, including last‑minute changes due to staff absence
  • Conduct basic staff coaching, on-the-job training and performance monitoring
  • Perform regular stock checks, receive deliveries and handle stocktaking, often outside peak customer hours
  • Ensure strict compliance with company SOPs, visual merchandising and hygiene standards
  • Prepare basic daily/weekly sales and inventory reports as required by management
  • Handle store-level administrative tasks such as documentation, simple system entries and incident reporting
  • Address minor maintenance issues in the shop by coordinating with mall management or vendors
  • Any other duties assigned by management related to the smooth running of the outlet


Job Requirements

  • Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years of frontline retail experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role
  • Comfortable working long standing hours in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Must be able and willing to: Work 6 days per week, including all weekends and Public Holidays on a rotational basis Accept weekday off days only Adjust schedule during festive periods and peak seasons as required
  • Good communication skills ability to communicate with a broad range of customers
  • Basic computer literacy (e.g. POS system, ERP system, simple reports, email)
  • Able to handle repetitive tasks, routine processes and standard operating procedures with minimal variation
  • Comfortable managing and resolving customer complaints on the spot, often under time pressure
