Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Retail and Events Manager, based in Singapore. The role is ideal for a hands-on, energetic, and responsible manager who enjoys building things from the ground up.
The Retail and Events Manager will help manage and grow Innovate 360's retail and activation spaces, with a strong focus on driving foot traffic, supporting startup brands, improving customer experience, and creating engaging events and pop-ups. The person should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where the space, systems, and programming are still being stabilised.
This is not a purely desk-based role. The manager will be expected to be on the ground, coordinate with brands and vendors, solve operational issues, support events during weekends when required, and take ownership of making the space lively, well-presented, and commercially meaningful.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day implementation and execution of Innovate 360's retail and events programme
- Curate and manage a rotating calendar of pop-ups, brand showcases, product launches, workshops, and community activations
- Drive foot traffic, customer engagement, and sales opportunities through creative programming and retail storytelling
- Manage retail operations, including product placement, visual merchandising, store presentation, customer experience, and basic sales tracking
- Work closely with startups and brand partners to help them showcase, test, and grow their products in-market
- Coordinate event logistics, including setup, teardown, vendor management, manpower planning, and onsite execution
- Support marketing efforts by providing content angles, event highlights, brand stories, and customer engagement ideas
- Build and maintain relationships with startups, tenants, vendors, partners, creators, and community groups
- Track and report key metrics such as sales, footfall, customer feedback, event attendance, and brand performance
- Identify ways to improve the space, increase repeat visits, and create a stronger retail and community experience
- Provide light support for café and F&B-related operations where needed, including coordination of staff schedules, service flow, and quality standards
- Be willing to work on weekends, evenings, and event days when required, with time-off arrangements where applicable
- Support ad-hoc operational needs as the space continues to grow and stabilise
Who We Are Looking For
- A hands-on and energetic manager with strong ownership and follow-through
- Someone independent, responsible, and able to solve problems on the ground
- A team player who can work with startups, vendors, customers, and internal teams
- Strong communication, customer service, and coordination skills
- Good eye for retail presentation, visual merchandising, and customer experience
- Able to organise and execute events, pop-ups, workshops, and activations from planning to onsite delivery
- Comfortable working in a startup-like environment where systems are still being built
- Commercially minded, with an interest in driving sales, footfall, and brand growth
- Passionate about supporting startups, local brands, food innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship
- Willing to be flexible and take on a jack-of-all-trades role when needed
