Restaurant Manager

Job Description:

• Manage day-to-day operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.
• Monitor inventory and ensure sufficient stock of ingredients, beverages, and supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of goods.
• Ensure excellent customer experience by handling feedback, complaints, and special requests.
• Monitor service quality and dining experience.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Recruit, train, and schedule restaurant staff including chefs, servers, and cleaners.
• Supervise and motivate team members to ensure performance standards are met.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching when needed.
• Manage budgets, sales targets, and daily cash handling.
• Prepare sales and expense reports.
• Control costs and optimize profits.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and local laws.
• Work with chefs to update or revise menu offerings when needed.
• Implement promotions, discounts, and special events to attract more customers.
• Understand Thai food culture and ensure authenticity in presentation and taste.
• Work with Stage Manager for the performance

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a Thai restaurant.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Thai cuisine, ingredients, and food preparation.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (POS, MS Excel, etc.).
• Ability to speak Thai is an advantage to liaise with Thai speaking customers.
• Able to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
