RESTAURANT CAPTAIN

Working Hours: 6 days

Job Description:

• Welcome and engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure every guest receives prompt, attentive, and high-quality service.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests effectively.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming dining environment.
• Supervise and coordinate servers, cashiers, and other front-of-house staff during shifts.
• Assign daily duties and monitor staff performance.
• Train new employees on service standards, restaurant procedures, and menu knowledge.
• Motivate team members to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
• Conduct opening and closing shift procedures.
• Ensure tables, dining areas, and service stations are properly prepared.
• Monitor food and beverage service to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to maintain efficient workflow.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and company SOPs.
• Assist with POS operations and payment processing when required.
• Verify bills and ensure accurate transactions.
• Monitor inventory of front-of-house supplies and report shortages.
• Prepare shift reports and communicate operational issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, hygiene, and food handling regulations.
• Enforce company policies and operational procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in restaurant operations.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
