Resident Technical Officer

Site Supervision (LTA Projects)

. Supervise daily construction works (roadworks, MRT, tunnelling, drainage) in accordance with LTA specifications and approved drawings

. Ensure strict compliance with LTA General Specifications, project requirements, and contract conditions

. Monitor critical activities such as piling, diaphragm wall, excavation, concreting, and reinstatement

Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)

. Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with LTA standards

. Verify shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions before execution

. Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure proper closure

. Witness key tests (concrete cube test, slump test, soil compaction, etc.)

Tunnelling / Underground Works (if applicable)

. Supervise Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) operations and monitor tunnelling parameters

. Check segment installation, grout injection, and alignment control

. Monitor ground settlement and instrumentation readings

. Ensure compliance with safety and technical requirements for underground works
