Resident Technical Officer (RTO)

Responsibilities:

• Overall conduct site inspections and monitor activities to ensure compliance.
• Report site progress and issues promptly to management, addressing any non-conformities.
• Verify defects completion against defects lodged.
• Coordinate with Developer, Main Contractors, contractors, subcontractors regarding site matters.
• Monitor testing and commissioning works, including those related to materials and engineering systems.
• Assist in preparing inspection checklists and reports for supervision.
• Maintain detailed site records, including progress reports, and photographs.
• Observe and report unsafe practices or conditions, ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
• Attend technical and site meetings, providing updates while tracking rectification works until completion.

Contract Basis

Basic Requirements:
More than 3 years of relevant experience in building, civil, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
Familiarity with construction drawings and understanding of codes of practice are essential.
Strong site supervision and coordination skills are crucial for success in this role.
Effective communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital tools for site management.
