We are seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to support site supervision works for structural and pharmaceutical (cleanroom) construction projects. The role involves ensuring all structural and building works are carried out in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements where applicable.
Supervise and inspect structural works including reinforced concrete, formwork, and steel reinforcement
Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards such as Eurocode
Monitor construction works within cleanroom / controlled environments to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements
Coordinate with M&E / cleanroom teams to ensure proper interface between structural and pharmaceutical systems
Conduct site inspections and maintain daily reports, checklists, and quality records
Witness concrete works including pre-pour inspections and testing activities
Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances
Ensure proper handling of materials and works in cleanroom areas to avoid contamination risks
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and regulatory requirements
Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant site supervision experience
Experience in structural works (reinforced concrete, formwork, rebar)
Exposure to pharmaceutical / semiconductor / cleanroom projects preferred
Familiar with GMP environment and controlled construction practices
Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Good coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
Experience working in cleanroom or controlled environments
Knowledge of contamination control and clean construction practices
Experience in industrial or large-scale projects
