Responsibilities
- Managing a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements
- Work closely with Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, design and supervision leadership not only to solve site problems, but also to ensure timely completion of the projects
- Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system
- Carry out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site
- Understand drawings & contract documents in carrying out the works
- Understanding of local legislation/ requirement
- Strong knowledge of regulation for building construction projects
- Basic knowledge of architectural and C&S shop drawings and construction works on site
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution accredited by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore. and registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer preferred
- Minimum 6 years of M&E work experience
- Fully conversant with statutory regulations with good organization skills in maintaining site records.
- Experience in supervising M&E installation preferred.
- Conversant in local construction practices, air-conditioning, electrical, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary services.
- Good co-ordination skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and team player
