RESIDENT ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise site supervision teams (including RTOs) for daily construction activities.
• Ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards.
• Review and coordinate design, shop drawings, and contractors submissions.
• Monitor progress, workmanship, and quality control on site.
• Identify and resolve technical and site issues promptly.
• Ensure all works comply with workplace safety and environmental requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Prepare and review site reports, documentation, and progress updates.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Registered as a Resident Engineer (RE) with the IES Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, viaduct, or tunnel construction projects (preferably LTA projects).
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural works, local codes, and authority procedures.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage a team of RTOs effectively.
