Research Scientist
We are looking for a motivated research scientist with experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics and molecular biology to assist with projects related to receptor biology, functional assays, and assay development. You will join the Toxin Verification & Diagnostic Team, supporting operations for National Security. The role emphasizes protein and receptor characterization, contributes to the development and optimization of analytical assays, and builds capabilities for analysing toxins relevant to both laboratory and operational environments.
Job Requirements
- Degree/ Master/ PhD in Analytical Chemistry/Biochemistry/ Biochemistry & Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biotechnology And Molecular Biology/ Molecular Biotechnology
- Experience working with protein and peptide mass spectrometry sample preparation and LC#MS/MS analysis
- Foundational knowledge or practical experience in molecular biology and recombinant protein techniques
- Understanding of protein function and immunological assay principles
- Ability to analyse experimental data
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D teams
- Willing to handle hazardous proteins and chemicals
- Familiarity with assay development or optimization workflows
