Your Role
As a Plant Biotechnologist, you will play a key role in executing and supporting research initiatives with precision and consistency. Key Responsibilities
- Execute plant biotechnology experiments and tissue culture protocols with accuracy and consistency
- Support development and optimization of gene editing and transformation workflows
- Manage multiple experiments and tasks across different project stages
- Prepare and process samples for downstream applications such as sequencing
- Maintain detailed, accurate laboratory records in line with research requirements
- Ensure proper upkeep of laboratory equipment, reagents, and shared workspaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional research teams and communicate progress or challenges effectively
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Plant Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong foundation in molecular biology techniques and laboratory best practices
- Familiarity with equipment such as PCR/qPCR systems, gel electrophoresis, centrifuges, and microscopy tools
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and execute experimental protocols with precision
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both lab work and documentation
- Comfortable working in a dynamic research environment with evolving project needs
