The Institute of High Performance Computing, part of A.STAR in Singapore, is seeking a talented, motivated researcher with experience in engineering design, simulation, and manufacturing, with a knowledge of additive manufacturing, active functional materials, Multiphysics simulations, micro-electro-mechanical systems, and robotics. Experience with 4D printing, shape memory materials, and material characterization methods is beneficial.
Job Requirements
.PhD in engineering
.Strong background in computational design and optimization, including computer-aided design (eg: AutoCAD) and modeling and simulation (eg: ANSYS, Abaqus, or COMSOL)
.Knowledge of additive manufacturing (3D printing), robotics, micro-electro-mechanical systems
.Good coding skills for scientific computing (eg: Matlab or python)
.Possess good publication track record
