Research and Development Director / R&D Manager

Role Description

This is a Part-time, hybrid role for a Research and Development Director/R&D Manager, located in Singapore with an option for some remote work. The role involves planning, developing, and overseeing R&D projects to drive innovation and align strategies with organizational goals. The individual will lead and manage a team of researchers, ensuring milestones are achieved efficiently. A core responsibility is to identify advancement opportunities, monitor trends, and ensure all projects are executed within budget and on schedule while collaborating cross-functionally with other departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Research and Development (R&D) and executing strategic research initiatives
• Strong skills in Team Leadership and Team Management
• Proficiency in Project Management with excellent organizational ability
• Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
• Advanced degree in engineering, science, or a related field
• Knowledge of the automotive or manufacturing industry is considered an advantage
