Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive reports and presentations, clearly communicating research findings and recommendations.
  • Synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., marketing, finance, product) to understand their research needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to stay ahead of market shifts.
  • Assist in the development of research strategies and methodologies to improve data collection and analysis processes.
  • Manage and maintain research databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Prepare forecasts, financial models, or market projections to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure research adheres to ethical guidelines and data privacy regulations, including Australian laws.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Social Sciences, Market Research, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Research Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on data analysis and research methodology.
  • Strong proficiency in research techniques, including qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, Stata) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Ability to work with large datasets, using Excel or other data tools to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear, understandable way.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) and CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Australian data protection laws and ethical research standards is highly desirable.
  • A proactive attitude and a passion for discovering insights through data analysis.
