Overview:
We are seeking for a Regulatory Compliance Officer to support the firm's regulatory framework across multiple jurisdictions. This role will focus on monitoring global regulatory developments, advising internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements, managing regulator communications, and supporting audits and supervisory reviews. The ideal candidate has strong traditional financial services experience, solid capital markets exposure, and hands on regulatory engagement experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret global regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business
- Review and update internal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
- Provide clear and practical regulatory advice to business, treasury, trading, and operational teams
- Support licensing obligations and ongoing compliance under CMSL and other relevant regulatory regimes
- Act as a key point of contact for regulators and manage regulatory correspondence and inquiries
- Coordinate and support regulatory inspections, audits, and information requests
- Assist in regulatory reporting and ensure timely and accurate submissions
- Conduct regulatory gap analysis and implement remediation plans where necessary
- Deliver compliance training and regulatory updates to internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related discipline
- 3 to 6 years of regulatory compliance experience within traditional financial institutions
- Strong traditional finance background is required
- Experience operating under CMSL or equivalent capital markets regulatory framework is mandatory
- Solid understanding of capital markets activities including treasury functions
- Exposure to crypto, digital assets, or payments business is a plus
- Experience liaising directly with regulators and supporting audits
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex regulations into practical guidance
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across multiple business functions
