Regional Total Rewards Lead
(Compensation, Benefits, Performance & Mobility)
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Total Rewards Lead to join our People team. In this role, you will covering all aspects of compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee mobility. You will require to design, implement, and continuously enhance comprehensive Total Rewards programs to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with business priorities.
You will work closely with regional HR, People Ops, and global COEs to drive business objectives and deliver an exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. The role also involves advising on complex compensation and benefits topics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting projects such as M&A harmonization and change management.
Key Responsibilities
Total Rewards Leadership (Comprehensive Scope)
- Compensation: Design, maintain, and govern regional compensation structures (base pay, variable pay, long-term incentives); lead annual review cycles including benchmarking, salary/bonus reviews, promotion and pay equity analysis.
- Benefits: Develop, implement, and optimize regional benefits programs (health, retirement, insurance, wellness, allowances), regularly evaluate plan competitiveness and employee value proposition, and manage vendor relationships.
- Performance Management: Own the end-to-end performance management process including policy design, system configuration, manager/employee enablement, calibration, and results analysis; ensure integration with pay-for-performance and talent development frameworks.
- Mobility: Serve as the subject matter expert for regional mobility, including cross-border assignments, relocations, and transfers; set and maintain compliant, competitive mobility policies in line with changing labor, tax, and immigration requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HRBPs and business stakeholders on Total Rewards programs, ensuring alignment with business needs and resolving escalations.
- Use data and market insights to continuously recommend and implement improvements to all Total Rewards programs.
COE Program Development & Stakeholder Partnership
- Represent the region in global Total Rewards and HR transformation initiatives; ensure both global alignment and regional customization.
- Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth rollout and adoption of reward programs and policies.
- Provide education, training, and communications to managers and employees to maximize understanding and value of total rewards offerings.
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and market trends in compensation, benefits, performance, and mobility, updating policies as needed to maintain compliance and competitiveness.
- Generate and deliver actionable Total Rewards analytics, dashboards, and insights to inform HR and business decision-making.
Special Projects & M&A Support
- Lead or support Total Rewards workstreams in M&A, including compensation/benefits due diligence, program harmonization, and integration of acquired teams.
- Advise on people cost modeling, risks/mitigation, and overall change management for project initiatives.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years HR COE experience in all areas of Total Rewards (compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee mobility) in a regional or multinational context.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing Compensation, Benefits, Performance, and Mobility programs.
- Deep knowledge of market benchmarking, job evaluation, pay equity, and the interdependencies between rewards and performance management.
- Working knowledge of mobility frameworks and regional compliance requirements—tax, relocation, and immigration.
- Strong business partnering and client advisory skills; effective stakeholder management with HR, leadership, and external partners.
- Proven experience operating in a shared services, COE, or matrix/global environment; experience supporting HR transformation or M&A is highly advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency with HRIS and rewards benchmarking tools (e.g. BIPO, SuccessFactors, Mercer, WTW).
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages are a strong asset.
