Job Description

YOUR ROLE

Collaborate with business leaders as a strategic business partner, proactively providing HR solutions to align HR strategies with organizational goals, anticipating future needs and challenges. The regional HRBP to ensure consistency of HR practices and proper roll out of HR initiatives across the product lines.

The regional HRBP is the key point of contact for:

  • The Regional Product/Function Leader on all HR matters and organisation design topics
  • The Global HR teams to monitor consistency of HR policies across the product and provides information and HR analytics/reporting when needed
  • Acting as the first point of review for escalation or approval requests to the Region and eventually, GHO

This role plays a critical facilitation function within a matrixed, multi-product and multi-functional organization, enabling alignment, governance, and seamless execution across stakeholders.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

1. The regional HRBP drives HR campaigns across the region and initiatives that aligned to the products/functions in collaboration with the country HR teams including but not limited to:

  • People Review
  • Talent Mobility
  • Training & Development programs
  • Salary Review
  • Performance Management
  • Employee Engagement Survey Action Plans

2. The regional HRBP drives M&A integration topics and ensures deployment of the project such as:

  • Consistency of Target operating model or organizational design for the products/functions across the region
  • Review product/functions policies, bonus plans, local agreements
  • Cost reduction/synergy plan across the products/functions

3. Partner with regional leadership and country HR teams to align HR strategies with business needs, ensure compliant and consistent HR practices, and drive performance, employee engagement, and an inclusive workplace culture.

4. Proactively identify workforce trends and develop plans and partnering with the regional TM/TA team to address them before they become issues.

5. Partnering with the regional TM/TA team for attracting and selecting key talents, developing strategies for talent development, succession planning, and retention, ensuring a robust pipeline of high performing employees for the business lines.

6. Ensure the effective implementation and follow-up of global/regional initiatives for the business.

7. Utilize HR analytics and metrics to make informed decisions across APAC region, track progress, and report on HR initiatives and their impact on business performance.

8. Involve in manpower planning and budgetary process.

9. Monitor and oversees the deployment of HR projects that are dedicated to the products/functions and integration culture project by collaborating with the Global HR PMO and Global Transformation team

10. On a specific account: Develop a deep understanding of the current and target entity structures and provide robust HR analytical insights and clear recommendations on the optimal merger approach, while collaborating with Country HR Teams / products / functions teams to ensure smooth integration and process alignment

11. Participate in any assigned global/regional projects assigned by superior from time to time as required.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Candidate must possess at least a degree in a related field.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • At least 8 year(s) of related working experience in the related field and a decision-making role.
  • Knowledge of policies related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is also advantageous.
  • Ability to create and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and adapt to the evolving needs of the product or business area.
  • Strong skills in influencing stakeholders at various levels, with the ability to advocate for HR initiatives and negotiate solutions that benefit both employees and the business.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across departments and regions, acting as a trusted advisor to both managers and employees.
  • Strong Analytical, presentation, and communication skills
    Operations background is preferred.
  • Experience managing HR functions across diverse regions, understanding country-specific labour laws, cultural differences, and market practices.
  • Specific experience as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) or in HR product management is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, talent management, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
