Our client is a global US MNC in the distribution industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting an Regional Finance Manager to be part of their Finance Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East - easily accessible.
Duties of Regional Finance Manager:
- Oversee daily financial operations and ensure compliance with both internal policies and local regulations across multiple Asia markets.
- Drive credit management processes and ensure adherence to company targets.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning for regional entities.
- Support business growth through financial due diligence in acquisitions or new market entries.
- Lead finance setup for new regional offices, including systems and process implementation.
- Strengthen internal controls, improve accounting procedures, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot financial and operational challenges proactively.
- Supervise and guide regional finance teams to meet reporting and operational goals.
- Coordinate annual external audits and ensure timely tax filings with local authorities.
- Conduct credit reviews, margin analysis, and manage trade receivables.
- Perform P&L variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and handle ad hoc finance projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with 2 years of management experience. Exposure in India and Thailand accounting is highly preferred
- Experience with using SAP system
