Regional Finance Director (Maincon)

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Finance Director to oversee our financial operations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial management, project oversight, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping financial strategy and ensuring the organization's financial health.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• Provide insights to the executive team regarding financial performance and strategic opportunities.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the creation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze market trends and economic conditions to guide the budgeting process.

Financial Reporting

• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and accounting standards.

Project Financial Oversight

• Manage project accounting and monitor the financial performance of all projects.
• Implement cost control measures and address project risks.

Treasury

• Oversee cash management, investments, and financing strategies.
• Ensure optimal liquidity and maintain financial stability.

Financial Operations

• Supervise daily financial operations and enhance efficiency.
• Implement best practices for financial management.

Taxation

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies.
• Oversee tax planning and reporting processes.

Corporate Governance

• Uphold high standards of corporate governance and compliance.
• Foster transparency and accountability in financial practices.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Cultivate a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA, CA, or ACCA certification.
• Strong grasp of project accounting principles.
• Proven experience in managing project risks and implementing cost control measures.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and construction project management software.
• In-depth knowledge of the economic landscape in Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia, particularly in the construction sector.
