Job Description
- Lead and coordinate corporate governance activities across multiple APAC entities, including statutory filings and board/shareholder meetings
- Drive the development, maintenance and enhancement of regional and local governance policies, SOPs and internal controls
- Act as Compliance Officer, establishing and overseeing compliance frameworks and supporting committee governance
- Provide practical, business-oriented legal support on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters
- Draft, review and support negotiation of commercial contracts and legal documentation
- Serve as Data Protection and Information Management Officer, overseeing data protection frameworks, audits and training
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to deliver governance and compliance initiatives to completion
The Successful Applicant
A successful Regional Corporate Governance, Senior Manager should have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience, out of which 2 years are within pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Proven background in corporate governance, compliance, company secretarial or in-house legal functions
- Strong experience managing regional governance matters across multiple legal entities
- Demonstrated ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical business solutions
- Solid contract drafting, review and advisory experience in a commercial environment
- Comfortable operating independently in a lean, hands-on regional role
- Experience leading governance, compliance or risk-related initiatives end-to-end
