Our client is a well-established global architecture and design firm specialising in large-scale developments such as commercial buildings, retail spaces, and mixed-use projects. With a strong presence across Asia, the regional finance team plays a critical role in supporting multi-country operations.
This role is a hands-on Regional Accountant position with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL) activities. You will support day-to-day accounting operations across Singapore, India, and Cambodia, ensuring accuracy in financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with local statutory requirements.
This position is suitable for someone with a solid operational accounting background who is comfortable working close to the numbers and across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities (AR & GL-Centric)
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and monthly account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing support, reconciliations, and follow-ups with internal stakeholders
- Support the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data
- Prepare supporting schedules for management reporting and audits
- Assist with statutory reporting, tax filings, and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and local regulatory requirements
- Liaise with regional teams, auditors, and external advisors on accounting-related matters
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Relevant experience in GL and/or AR accounting roles
- Good understanding of month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Exposure to audit, tax, or statutory reporting will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel experience with accounting systems is preferred
- Able to manage multiple entities and priorities in a regional environment
