Own the full recruitment lifecycle and deepen your market expertise

The Opportunity

As a RecruitmentConsultant, you will operate as a full-fledged 360‑degree recruiter, managing recruitment processes from initial job brief through to successful placement and beyond. This role is ideal for someone who is commercial minded, relationship driven, and ready to deepen their subject matter expertise to become a market expert within their area of specialisation.

You will build on an established foundation in recruitment, develop a clear business strategy, and play an active role in growing Ambition's client base, candidate networks, and internal culture.

What You'll Be Doing

Essential:

  • Own and manage recruitment assignments from job intake to placement
  • Create and execute a clear business development strategies to bring in new clients
  • Convert prospects into long‑term clients through proactive relationship building
  • Seek structured feedback from clients following placements
  • Build, manage, and maintain high‑quality candidate talent pools
  • Develop trusted relationships with candidates throughout their career journey
  • Proactively seek referrals from existing candidates and networks
  • Conduct in‑depth candidate assessments aligned to client requirements
  • Support candidates through interview preparation, offer management, and post‑placement engagement
  • Continue building and refining your subject matter expertise
  • Develop a strong presence within your chosen market or vertical

Additional:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify cross‑selling and shared business opportunities

  • Support colleagues by generating or contributing to collaborative business initiatives
  • Show interest in projects or initiatives outside of day‑to‑day recruitment activity
  • Maintain accurate, compliant, and up‑to‑date records in our internal database
  • Positively represent the Ambition brand internally and externally

What we're looking for

  • Degree or above in any disciplines
  • Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deal with external clients professionally
  • Self-motivated and result driven, with a positive mindset in wanting to succeed
  • Able to think outside the box for creative solutions and challenge the status quo
  • Proven track record in external recruitment is required.
  • Open to candidates with 180 recruitment experience.
