We are seeking an experienced R&D RF Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and optimization of RF receivers and transmitters for military-grade communication systems.
You will provide technical leadership in developing high-performance RF architectures that comply with military standards such as MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810, and ensure robust solutions from concept through deployment in demanding operational environments.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving ability, and proven experience in managing complex RF engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of RF receivers and transmitters for military communication systems, including architecture, integration, and performance optimization.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor RF engineers, and ensure project delivery meets schedules and budgets.
- Conduct RF simulation and validation using ADS, HFSS, and MATLAB oversee prototyping and testing in lab and field environments.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and compliance reports for internal reviews and military audits.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure system robustness in harsh operating conditions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong expertise in RF circuit design, including mixers, oscillators, filters, amplifiers, and antennas
- Proficiency with RF design and simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, andscripting or programming in Python or C++ for design automation
- Working location is in Jalan Boon Lay
