RESPONSIBILITIES

Design mechanical components, enclosures and systems using CAD tools, including case parts, and mechanisms.
Perform critical design analyses such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), form/fit/function and tolerance stack-up studies.
Develop and refine prototypes based on simulation results and conceptual designs, applying creative and innovative approaches.
Collaborate and communicate with development partners on mechanical design and development, detailed project requirements, mechanical specifications, and performance objectives.
Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure stability, reliability, and compliance with design standards.
Managing and executing experiment to characterize and validate design performance
Participate as a member of project team to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical part design & ownership
Demonstrated proficiency in Creo or equivalent 3D CAD design tools
Strong experience in plastic part design, tooling, and manufacturing processes
Experience in consumer product design will be an advantage
Having portfolio, work samples or project examples that demonstrate ME part design experience and technical contributions will be highly considered
