- Design mechanical components, enclosures and systems using CAD tools, including case parts, and mechanisms.
- Perform critical design analyses such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), form/fit/function and tolerance stack-up studies.
- Develop and refine prototypes based on simulation results and conceptual designs, applying creative and innovative approaches.
- Collaborate and communicate with development partners on mechanical design and development, detailed project requirements, mechanical specifications, and performance objectives.
- Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure stability, reliability, and compliance with design standards.
- Managing and executing experiment to characterize and validate design performance
- Participate as a member of project team to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical part design & ownership
- Demonstrated proficiency in Creo or equivalent 3D CAD design tools
- Strong experience in plastic part design, tooling, and manufacturing processes
- Experience in consumer product design will be an advantage
- Having portfolio, work samples or project examples that demonstrate ME part design experience and technical contributions will be highly considered
