We are looking for a passionate and creative R&D Food Technologist to join our team full-time and play a key role in our product development journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the research, development, and testing of new food products, recipes, and formulations that align with The Providore's brand values.
- Conduct product trials, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life testing to ensure quality and consistency.
- Work closely with Chefs, Operations, and Supply Chain to scale recipes for commercial production.
- Ensure all new product developments comply with Singapore's food safety and regulatory standards.
- Source and evaluate raw materials, ingredients, and suppliers to support product innovation.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of product development processes and specifications.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.
- Prior experience in R&D, product development, or food manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SFA/MOH food safety and regulatory requirements.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated by food innovation.
- Strong teamwork and project management skills.
