Job Summary
You will lead tendering and contract administration processes to secure and manage construction projects, collaborating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive contractual compliance and commercial success.
Responsibilities
- Lead tender preparation by developing detailed estimates to secure new construction projects for the company
- Manage post-tender queries and clarifications to ensure timely resolution and maintain client relationships
- Facilitate communication and collaboration in project meetings to provide clear contractual advice and represent the team externally
- Support project teams in administering sub-contracts, including processing progress payments, variation orders, and resolving contractual issues
- Review, develop, and implement contract administration procedures, systems, and policies in consultation with Management to enhance operational efficiency
- Liaise with building professionals and clients to address and resolve contractual matters effectively
- Supervise contractual claims such as progress payments and variations to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Execute subcontracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and contractual terms
- Evaluate and recommend subcontract awards based on thorough assessment of bids and project requirements
- Advise and assist Management and Project teams on commercial and contractual matters to support informed decision-making
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by identifying system enhancements and implementing effective changes
