Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

. Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and budgets for construction projects.

. Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids

. Sourcing of subcontractors and suppliers

. Conduct site measurements, check site progress for claims purposes, prepare progress reports and valuations for interim payments and final accounts.

. Prepare progress claims and project variation including monitoring progress

. Assess, value and prepare subcontractors progress payments and final claims

. Evaluate subcontractors variation order

. Track project costs and variations to ensure the project stays within budget

. Attend site and Consultant/ Technical meetings

. Perform any duties and responsibilities or other assignments given occasionally or on a daily basis by the immediate Superior

Requirements:

. Degree or Diploma in Building / Civil Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying in construction field or equivalent

. Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Main Contractor's firms

. Meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, hardworking, proactive, good team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

. Candidates with procurement experience will be an added advantage.

. Possesses good communication skills
